Laura Wilson

Visitation for Laura Taylor Wilson, 88, will be from 1 pm to 2 pm Friday, March 2, 2018 followed by funeral services at 2 pm at Memphis Funeral Home in Bartlett, TN. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Bartlett, TN.

Mrs. Wilson died peacefully at home on Monday, February 26, 2018. Born in Springville, TN, she was a daughter of the late Lena and Hubbard Taylor. Laura devoted herself to her family as a homemaker and raising six children. In mid-life she pursued and completed a bachelors degree in education and taught in the Memphis city school system as a substitute teacher.

Laura is preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Wilson, daughter Nancy Mozingo, and grandson Kelly Wilson.

Laura is survived by sons Clayton (Susan) Wilson of Collierville, TN, Keith (Shannan) Wilson of Southaven, MS; daughters Jacquelyn Fowler of Marion, AR, Brenda (Doug) Meyer of Madison, AL, Glenda Wilson of Southaven, MS; son-in-law Edward (Nancy) Mozingo Hartsville, SC; grandchildren Carie (Duncan) Wilson, Willie Fowler, Nathaniel (Stephanie) Fowler, Rachel Griffin, Gary Mozingo, Laura (Ricky) Fowler-Graham, Rebecca Griffin, Amanda Mozingo, Caroline Mozingo, A. J. Wilson; great-grandchildren Miles Maitland, Alexander Maitland, and J. J. Fowler.
