Juanita May Wilfong of Memphis, “Nuna”, 99, was born on October 6, 1912 in Gipson Co.TN. She was the wife of the late W. H. “Bunny” Wilfong. Bunny and Juanita owned the Cedar Grove Dairy, (the last independent dairy in Shelby County), until 1975. She peacefully departed this life on August 17 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Scott May and Adelia May of Mason Hall. Mrs. Wilfong leaves behind, two daughters, Joy Roberts (Roland), Gay Manasco (Danny), a son, Bill Wilfong (Julia), seven grandchildren, Bill Roberts of Memphis TN., Mike Roberts (Cindy) of Cox’s Creek KY., Todd Roberts (Estelle) of Savannah TN., Tim Roberts of Memphis TN., Melissa White (Jeff), Rob Manasco (Kelly) and Laura Miller all of Memphis, 18 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Lorene May of Memphis, and many nieces and nephews. She had two wonderful care takers, Helen Sutton and LaDonna Coger who made her life much easier. She was a charter member of Raleigh/Bartlett Woods Church of Christ that she loved and served faithfully. She was the first female member of the Raleigh/Covington Pike Kiwanis Club and was a huge University of Memphis Tigers basketball fan that attended the games as a season ticket holder for over 50 years. She was a proud member of the Rebounders. Visitation will be held at the Raleigh/Bartlett Woods Church of Christ, 7900 E. Old Brownsville Road, from 1-2pm with a funeral starting at 2pm on Monday, August 20. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bartlett Woods Church of Christ or charity of choice.
