John N. Jasper, age 62, died Tuesday, May 8, 2012. He was a Colonel in the U.S. Air Force, who retired after 28 years of service. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was married for forty years to his wife Sharon, who survives him. John is also survived by his children, Sara Clark and Stephen Jasper, his son-in-law Matt Clark, his daughter-in-law Elizabeth Jasper, and his grandchildren, Emma Clark, Allison Jasper, and Daniel Jasper. John was an active member of the Church of the Nativity Catholic Church and President of the parish’s St. Vincent De Paul Society. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 10, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Road. Funeral Services will be held at noon on Friday, May 11, at the Church of the Nativity Catholic Church, 5955 St. Elmo. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials to be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society at the Church of the Nativity.
