Janie Marie Holder, 72, of Germantown, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2010. She was a member of Germantown Church of Christ. Mrs. Holder, the wife of William A. Holder, Sr., also leaves a daughter, Sheila (DeWayne) Pettie of Germantown; a son, Andy (Beth) Holder of Murfreesboro, TN; 2 brothers, Weldon (Lura) Volner of Millington and Billy (Marie) Volner of Selmer, TN; and 4 grandchildren, Hunter and Taylor Pettie and Andrew, Matthew and Rachel Holder. The family will receive friends this evening, Saturday, September 25 from 5-7 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Poplar Ave. Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with interment to follow in Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, formerly Memory Hill Gardens.
