My heartfelt sympathy to Janice’s family.   I met Janice on the first day of grade 9.  Her desk was right behind mine and I had to turn around to talk to her.  I clearly remember being turned around most of the time!!  She was a generous, thoughtful, supportive and loyal friend.  Janice had so much promise!  She was smart, confident and kind.  And she knew exactly what she wanted and was very focused on accomplishing her goals.   It was so nice to reconnect over the past few years.   She will always have a place in my heart.  

My thoughts are with  all of Janice's family and loved ones  I remember  Janice  as a bright person with a zest for life. We became friends in junior high when she moved to lacombe   Even at that young age she was confident and had a certain sophistication.   We had many laughs together. One time after school  we made cream puffs that were so hard they were used as golf balls when she took them home.  We were in the drama club in high school and performed together in several plays.  I'm saddened that I wasn't able to see Janice again before she passed away
