Jane Randle Hubbard, 85, of Memphis died October 18th, 2023, at Germantown Methodist Hospital. She was born in Tupelo, MS on November 21st, 1937. Mrs. Hubbard was a legend in residential real estate in the Memphis area for over 60 years. On April 7th, 1957, she married Erskin Hubbard in Tupelo, MS. They were married 54 years until Erskin’s death in 2011, also on October 18th.
Jane loved her career in real estate helping people buy and sell all over the greater Memphis area. She was a pioneer, as there were few women in real estate when she began her career. She was a Realtor, Broker and life member of the Multi-Million Dollar Club, serving as president of the Club in 1984.
Erskin and Jane were members of Colonial Country Club in Cordova and lived on the golf course, welcoming and celebrating the Danny Thomas Memphis Classic golf tournament for years. Her hobbies included playing golf, bridge, entertaining friends and family, dancing and almost any kind of card game. Let’s just say she was very competitive, “fold” was not in her vocabulary.
Surviving Mrs. Hubbard are three children: Milleigh (Jamie) Pearson, Jana (Gary) Beaty, and Neil (Libby) Hubbard, all of Memphis, TN; seven grandchildren, Jamie (Kelley) and Emily Beaty, Will (Amanda) and Ben (Stephanie) Pearson, Matthew, Noah, and Luke Hubbard, four great grandchildren and Sister-in-law Helen Randle. She was preceded in death by her parents William Oney and Agnes Randle and her brothers Keith (Dot) & Keylon Randle all of Tupelo, MS.
The family will receive friends for a celebration of her life at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens at 3700 N. Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN October 23rd from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m.
