Cleda Jane Richardson Carey passed away at her home in Oakland, TN on January 25,2022. She was born September 5,1952 to Clovis and Catherine Richardson in Ripley, MS. She’s survived by Alex Carey of Oakland, TN Vladimir Carey of Germany, US Army, Julia Carey of Orlando, FL. She was preceded in death by John Carey, her husband of Memphis; Marsha Dukes her sister of Ripley, MS.
Jane grew up in Memphis, TN. Graduated from Kingsbury High School. She was manager for Zayre. Her hobbies were traveling, watching television and listening to Christian music. She’s a member of Bellevue Baptist Church.
A gathering of family and friends will occur Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. A celebration of life service for Jane will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 2:00 PM, Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. A graveside service will immediately follow at Memphis Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133.
