James “Jimmy” Edward Spurlock, 52 of Millington, passed away September 15, 2012. Jimmy worked at Plant Maintenance Service Corp. He was a loving husband, devoted father, and grandfather and avid NASCAR fan. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Laurie Spurlock; daughters Brandy Spurlock, Amber Spurlock; sons Joshua Spurlock, Dustin Spurlock; sister, Barbara Spurlock; grandchildren, Dennis, Daishia, Dionna and Donnivan Hewlett; many adopted family and numerous friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 22 from 4-6 pm. A celebration of Jimmy’s life will begin at 6 pm all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Germantown Road.
