James H. Lloyd, 84 of Memphis passed away January 7, 2010. James was a long time member of Berclair Baptist Church where he served as Deacon and taught Sunday school. He served in the United States Air Force during WWII and retired from MLG&W after 32 years of service. James is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bernice Lloyd; sisters Dot Langford of Tupelo, MS, Betty Dees of Calhoun City, MS and a host of nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents, James Dallas and Lula Mae Lloyd; sisters, Cora Lou Bray and Eva Winfield. James was a special man that was loved by his family and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 11 from 12 pm until service with burial to follow at 2 pm all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
