James "Jim" Luther Davis, age 67, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020. Jim was born June 9, 1953 in Memphis, TN. He served in the United States Marine Corps for four years during the Vietnam War. Jim was a graduate of Whitehaven High School, State Tech, and Drone Business College. He was retired from the USPS after 38 years. Jim loved fishing, enjoyed collecting comic books and collectables.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James D. Davis and Ruby Mae Logan Davis, and his sister, Bertha Mae Howell. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Mona Davis, his son, John Derick Davis, two grandchildren, Yuri and Jin Davis.
The family will receive friends from 5pm until 8pm on, Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Parkway Bartlett, TN 38133.
