Jacob Tyler Brown, 16, of Lakeland, TN, passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 in Lakeland. Jacob was born October 6, 1998 in Fernandina Beach, FL. He was an Honors Student, attending Arlington High School as a sophomore. Jacob was very intelligent, scoring a 32 on his ACT in 7th grade and subsequently being honored by the Duke University TIP program. He was a wonderful artist and loved music, computers, and robotics. He excelled at everything he tried and will be missed by his family and friends. Jacob is survived by his parents, Les and Litzi Brown, his maternal grandparents, Norman and Lillian Jones, his aunt, Joleen Jones, his half-sister, Wendy Brown, as well as two cousins, Hannah and Aaron Money. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 12-2pm with the funeral service following at 2pm, all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Bartlett. Interment will follow onsite in Memorial Gardens.
