Hubert E. Brown

Hubert E. Brown, 87, of Bartlett, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at his home. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served in WW II and he was retired from Sears. Mr. Brown, the husband of Norma “Polly” Brown for nearly 68 years, is also survived by his three daughters, Fran Battin (Orlando Estrada) of Memphis, Susan Brown Beck (Don Krajewski) of Bartlett, Donna Brown of Bartlett and daughter in law, Penny Brown of Arlington; grandchildren, Brian Battin, Jason Battin, Collin Brown, Robert and Cody Copeland, Daren Krajewski and Devin Krajewski; eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers and was preceded in death by a son, Tony Brown; his parents and a sister. Family and friends will gather Monday evening, August 24 from 5-8 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 25 at the funeral home with interment to follow in Memorial Gardens. Memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
