Grady Walter Morgan, Jr.

Grady Walter Morgan, Jr., passed away August 5, 2017. Raised in “the Sweet Potato Capital of the World”, Vardaman, Mississippi, he was an avid hunter and fisherman and a veteran of the United States Air Force. He had retired from Buckeye, a division of Procter and Gamble and was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady Walter Morgan, Sr. and Lucille Inman Morgan, and a daughter, Cheryl Crutcher, one sister and three brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Helen “Nita” Morgan, daughter, Carolyn (Paul) Paddock, son, Michael (Vicki) Morgan, granddaughters, Kira and Laurel, grandsons, Jason and Andrew, great-grandchildren, Samuel, Benjamin, Caleb, Evan, Asher, Kasey, Kelsey, Dustin and Skylar and two sisters, Barbara Rhodes and Zilla Spencer.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 10 A.M., the family will receive friends for one hour prior to service time all in the chapel of Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN 38133
