Glen Fox, 67, passed away unexpectedly and suddenly on April 3, 2025, in Savannah, Tennessee. Born on March 20, 1958, in Mobile, Alabama, Glen lived a life marked by dedication, integrity, and deep love for his family and the world around him.
For four decades, Glen built a remarkable career with Rowan Companies out of Houston. Eighteen of those years were spent in the Persian Gulf on an oil rig in Saudi Arabia, where he served in management as an Offshore Installation Manager (OIM). His work demanded resilience and sacrifice—thirty days offshore followed by thirty days at home—but Glen met every challenge with unwavering commitment. He was known among his colleagues for his fairness and strong leadership. Respected by all who worked with him, Glen’s loyalty and work ethic left a lasting impression. He retired in 2020 after a distinguished career that reflected his steadfast character.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Glen was a man of many passions. He found joy kayaking along peaceful waters and spending time on the Tennessee River near the RV property he cherished. There, surrounded by nature’s beauty and the laughter of loved ones, he experienced some of his happiest moments—grilling with family as the sun dipped below the horizon. A devoted fan of the Memphis Grizzlies, Glen never missed a game. He also enjoyed flying drones and meticulously constructing model ships—hobbies that reflected both his curiosity and patience.
Glen’s life was deeply rooted in love and humility. He was a devoted husband to Anne Fox and a proud father to Adrienne Fox and Connor Fox, wife Kelly and Anya. Adrienne and Connor shared many special moments with Glen. His first grandchild, Anya came 3 weeks early so Glen was able to meet her and hold her. Glen is also remembered by his mother Cammie Sue Branch; his brother Richard Fox with his wife Kim and son James; and his sister Kim Britt with her husband Mark and their children Hannah and Matthew.
Those who knew Glen will remember him as honest, hardworking, loyal, kind, and humble—a man whose quiet strength uplifted those around him. His legacy lives on not only through his family but also through the countless lives he touched with his steady presence and generous spirit.
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Dignity Memorial, located at 3700 N Germantown Pkwy in Bartlett, Tennessee.
May Glen’s memory bring comfort to all who knew him and serve as a reminder of a life well lived—with purpose, love, and grace.
Food and fellowship for Glen will be available Sunday, May 11, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
