Gary Lane Mercer, age 80, of Arlington, Tennessee passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021. Gary was born on March 16, 1941in Dyer, TN, to the late Clint "Doc" and Evelyn Mercer. He was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his son Steven Lane Mercer. Gary is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Carolyn Mercer, his two daughters, Karri Wilmore (Kyle), Shawna Burk (Glenn), four grandchildren, Karlie Burk Warner, Callie Wilmore, Parker Burk, and Maddie Wilmore. He also leaves a sister, Shirley Wetzel, and one brother, Ronnie Mercer.

The Family will receive friends from 12:30pm until service time at 2pm, on Friday, April 16, 2021, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Parkway Bartlett, TN 38133.
