Emily Davis Courtney, 28, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away and joined her mother in heaven on October 4, 2016. She was born on May 27, 1988 in Memphis, TN. Emily graduated with her bachelor’s degree from UT Knoxville on May 10th, 2010. On November 14, 2015, she married her husband Patrick Ryan Courtney. She loved her family, her friends, and her dog Fancy. Emily was preceded by her mother Helen Davis. She is survived by her husband Patrick Ryan Courtney, her father Glenn Davis, and her loving family Nathalie, Robert, Mr. and Mrs. Rich Davis, Hannah, Theodore, Cameron, and Thomas Courtney, and Patti Foster. Emily leaves a host of other loving family and friends. The family will receive friends from 4pm until 6pm, on Saturday, October 8, 2016, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN 38133. Funeral services will be held at 2pm, on Sunday, October 9, 2016, at Sanctuary on the Square, 104 N. Rowlett St, Collierville, TN 38017.
