Dorothy D. Sanders, 89, of Cordova passed away Friday, December 13, 2013 at her residence. She was a retired manager for Proctor & Gamble after 23 years of service and was a member of Second Presbyterian Church-Memphis. Mrs. Sanders is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Albert Sanders; children, Dr. Robert McCalla (Lisa) of Eads, TN and Trudy Martin (Dave) of Cordova, TN; grandchildren, Erin & Lauren Martin, Drew (Brittany) McCalla; brothers, Bobby Durr of Mississippi and James Durr of Florida. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 pm, Monday, December 16, 2013 at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Second Presbyterian Church, 4055 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
