Don Burgess, 75, of Cordova, Tennessee passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed riding motorcycles and travelling the country with his lovely wife, Peggy. Mr. Burgess was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Laura Burgess; and is survived by his wife of 49 years, Peggy Burgess; children, Dan Burgess of Millington, Deanna Brown of Cordova and Laurie Fowler of Bartlett; grandchildren, Kendall Burgess, Kyle Burgess, Kurtis Burgess, J.T. Brown and Davis Brown. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 4, 2017 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN.
