Dennis Joseph Demo Jr., age 88, of Arlington, Tennessee passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021. Dennis was born on January 9, 1933 on Memphis, TN. A legend among us, he enlisted into the US Air Force at the age of 17. Dennis worked at both the Press Scimitar and the Commercial Appeal. He was a professional bass tournament fisherman which led him to an opportunity with Cotton Cordell Lures, Top Sales Director for Ranger Boats, and he developed a reel handle "Demo Reel Handle."
Mr. Demo was preceded in death by his wife Scottie A. Demo. He is survived by his daughters Teresa Street, Brenda Roberts, Billie Early and Charlene Wheeler, one sister Mary Claire Prince, eleven grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 9am until service time at 10am, on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Parkway Bartlett, Tn.
