Dan Michael Poe, 69 of Southaven, formerly of Memphis passed away September 21, 2012. Dan was a former member of Hollywood Baptist Church and a member of Providence Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Frayser High School and retired from Firestone. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Burckel Poe. Dan is survived by his wife of 48 years, Cynthia Poe; daughter Amy Hazley (Gene); son Shane Poe; mother, Lou Nell Poe; sister, Linda Pryor (Joe); brother, Tim Poe (Pat); three grandchildren, Morgan LaFitte (Seth), Brittney Hazley, Brooke Hazley and two great grandchildren, Myles and Cash LaFitte. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 24 from 11 am until service time at 1 pm all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Germantown Road.
