Cynthia Cindylou J. Rowe Cooper

Cindy Cooper departed this life on August 12, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Cindy was a loving wife, and just celebrated her 40th anniversary with her devoted spouse, Beral. She was preceded in death by her dad, P.D. Rowe and leaves her mom, Jean Rowe, sister Joy (Jeff), and brothers David (Tina) and Richard (Leigh). She was an incredible mother to Kim (Craig), James (Priscilla) and April (Oscar); an awesome Granny and Nene to seven grandchildren and one great- grandchild. Cindy's love of animals was second only to her love for her family. She had an incredible knack for finding stray animals and giving them an awesome home. Over the years she cared for hundreds of dogs, cats, birds, fish, raccoons, and even a frog named "Ms. Georgie". The family would like to thank Rebecca, RN with Crossroads Hospice for the care she gave Cindy over the past few months. Rebecca you were a bright light in Cindy's day and we know she always made you laugh. Cindy, you will always remain in our hearts. We will miss your sense of humor, positive attitude and quick wit. We love you. The family will receive friends from 1-3p.m. Saturday, August 16 at Memphis Funderal Home and Memorial Gardens, Germantown Pkwy. The service will start at 3p.m.
