Cindy Maranda Sampson (Downs), 44, of Bartlett, died Friday. She was a lifelong resident of Bartlett, TN and worked for her father at Down’s Electric. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and friend. Cindy was of the Christian Faith.
Cindy never met a stranger, there was never a puzzle she couldn’t conquer, never a recipe she couldn’t improve, she was a lover of flowers and there was nothing she couldn’t grow. Cindy loved to paint, draw, woodwork, and working with the children at Altruria Elementary School. She was a lover of animals of all kinds. Some of her most favorite places were the beach, the pool, and her families camping spot at Chaney Lake.
She is survived by her husband: Drew Sampson of Bartlett; One Daughter Nola; One Sister Becky (Mike) of Lawrenceburg; Her Mother and Father (Larry and Linda) of Eads; Multiple nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Cindy will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. The funeral service will occur Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
