I just learned of Mrs. Williams passing. I have thought of her and P.C. with sweet memories often. Mostly of them calling our son, Ben, Dennis because he called them Mr. and Mrs. Wilson riding on his tricycle up and down the sidewalk. I loved her Christmas open house. They were both a treasures.

Sorry to hear of her passing  . She was a great lady whom I liked and admired.

There was a beautiful old house being torn down on the corner of Frayser  Blvd. and University. Carrie Jo and I decided we needed to dig up the beautiful shrubs by the house. Prather got the tools and the truck and we drove  to the house and the man told us to take all we wanted. We dug up just enough shrubs to decorate the front of the Sky View gym.  Carrie Jo and I had so much fun working together. I respected  and loved her. 

I learned more than Civics and History from Mrs. Williams.  I owe her for life lessons in kindness, loyalty and American Patriotism.  She was a friend for life.   Save me a space in heaven Carrie Jo.  I will meet you above the rainbows.

Carrie Jo was a wonder friend.  We meet at Westside High around 1966, h and I loved both she and Prather.  She was very loving and saw the good in everyone.  She enriched my life and the lives of everyone she meet.  She loved her God, her family, and her country.  My prayers are with her family.  I know how much you will miss her. Carrie Jo Williams was such an amazing teacher, she loved all of her students and we all loved her.  Mrs Williams always tried to make learning new things fun for all of her students.
She was  a positive influence on every student, faculty member and office staff at SkyView Academy.

Once aunt Carrie jo offerd to cook me dinner.i told her thank you but I would be late at work and couldn't come by. Ok she said I'll bring it to your work.she left it with the ladies at the office.they couldn't wait to tell me what my sweet aunt had done.shes also my sister I said. After puzzled looks I explained we belong to the same church. When I told her the next Sunday we both laughed till we were dizzy I love that about her. My only regret is I didn't go to her house and eat dinner with her and let her love me more. I miss you sister Carrie jo love love Jeff.

Mrs. Williams was such a great teacher.  I was blessed to be in one of her classes every year at Sky-View.

I had Ms Williams in both Civic and History. She was a wonderful person. I did not like history at all but she was there for me if I needed help. All I had to do was ask. 

Always a smile on her face. She was an incredible lady. She was a great leader. She loved teaching all of us there at Skyview. I appreciate more all the effort she put in to get her students through school. God bless her family in this time.

Mrs Williams was such a blessing to those around her at SkyView and a wonderful role model to the students. She was a true gem and had a lasting impact on many. Heaven gained an angel and she will be missed by all. Rest In Peace. 

Mrs. Williams taught me at Westside and I have never forgotten her.  I moved from Memphis right after graduation, but on return visits to my parents, I would stop by and visit with her and Mr. Williams. I was thrilled to see her at one of the reunions about 3 years ago. She was as beautiful then as when I graduated in 1974.  The world is a better place because of her presence these 92 years. 

During the years that we both worked at SkyView Academy  we became fast and lasting friends!  I am at a loss for words to describe my sorrow but I know I will see her again walking the streets of Gold. Thank you MsWilliams for taking such good care of all us kids at Skyview Academy. You were the reason I continued my Masters Program and it was dedicated to you. We all loved you and pops ! 

Carrie was a wonderful lady and I am privileged to have known her if even briefly.  My condolences to her family.
