Briana Justice Jones

Briana Justice Jones, 16, of Cordova passed away Monday, August 4, 2014. She was a student at Cordova High School where she was a cheerleader and was a member of the Memphis Roller Derby Team. Briana was also a member of Faith Baptist Church-Bartlett and was also a free spirit attending various churches, such as, Life Church – Germantown, Bartlett Baptist Church and Cathedral of Praise – Cordova with many of her friends that she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Ann Nadine Vincent; paternal grandfather, Jeffery Dale Jones; maternal step grandfather, Albert Clayton Seals; Briana is survived by her boyfriend and the love of her life, Barrett Chase Taylor; her mother, Sarah Bernice Jones; father, Jason Paul Jones; step-mother, Mindy Jones; siblings, Heaven Nadine Jones, Jasmin Alani Jones, Tyler Logan Harris and Jordan Caleb Harris; maternal grandfather, Ricky Lee Vincent; maternal great grandparents, Ronnie and Sandi Stanford; paternal grandparents, David and Jennie Lynn Barefoot; step-grandparents, Horace and Debbie Dye; aunts, Kerensa Vincent and Nikki Young; uncles, Jason Taylor and Josh Harris; cousins, Madison and Gage Erwin, Barry and Alyssa Young, Brooke and Josh Harris, Jr. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Friday, August 8, 2014 and a celebration to honor Briana’s life at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 9, 2014 both to be held at Faith Baptist Church-Bartlett.
