Brenda Thomas

Brenda Thomas, born on January, 14, 1947 passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 11, 2013. She was employed by the JM Smuckers Company for 35 years and is a member at Hope Presbyterian Church Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her parents James W. Stainback and Hessie M. Kelley . She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 32 years William Thomas. She also leaves behind two daughters, Donna Fielder and Deanna Ray, two step-children, Jeanette Russell (Shane) and Christopher Thomas (Cyndi), nine grandchildren, Patrick Gooch, Haven Parish, Malayna Rose, Cody Fielder, Matthew Rose, Allison Fielder, Preslie Ray, Landon Russell and Archer Thomas, a great-granddaughter Haylie Gooch, two sisters, Marie Doyle (Robert) and Patricia Martin, two brothers, Dale Stainback (Vickie) and Donnie Stainback (Betty), a host of loved nieces, nephews, and a best friend Barbara Alexander. The family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Friday, June 14 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. The funeral will be on Saturday at 2pm also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Great Strides which promotes the awareness of Cystic Fibrosis.
