Bobby Ray Strode

Bobby Ray Strode, 82, of Memphis, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017. He was a US Navy veteran, retired from Speer Products after 37 years of service and was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan. Mr. Strode, the husband of Jean E. Strode for 63 years, also leaves two daughters, Teresa Longo and Sandy (David) Galtelli, both of Memphis; a brother, Dewey (Patsy) Strode of Harrison, AR; four grandchildren, Mitzi (Marcello) Donato, Lisa (Rick) Cherry, Brett Longo and Anna Strode; four great grandchildren, Alyssa, Isabella and Daniel Donato and Joe Cherry and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Lance E. Strode and a sister, Aileen Strode. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon, February 5 from 1-3 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, February 6 at the funeral home with interment to follow in Memphis Memory Gardens.
