He was born to the late Delmas Copeland and Zula French Copeland on March 16th, 1938, in Latham, Tennessee. Bill is survived by his wife, Anna; daughter, Robin Sweeney (Ed); grandchildren, Melissa Reich (Andrew), Michael Sweeney (Amber), Billy Sweeney (Tanya) and Christine Ercoline (Martin); his great-grandchildren Braiden O’Toole, Colin O’Toole, Colton Reich, Rylee Sweeney, Paisley Reich and Jackie Sweeney.
A talented man with many interests; Bill loved music, playing in multiple groups over many years. He was an avid bass fisherman, loved riding his motorcycles, and was a licensed airplane pilot. His favorite accomplishment was being a husband, father, grandpa, and a man of God.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Faith Music Academy, 3755 N. Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133 or to the American Diabetes Association.
Family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:30am on Friday, October 27th at Faith Baptist Church, 3755 N. Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN. Services will follow at 11:30.
