Betty graduated from Keiser High School in Keiser Arkansas. She worked at The Union Planters bank in Memphis Tennessee. Betty married in the military life and raised three children while living on numerous Naval Air Bases throughout the United States, Canada, and the Philippine Islands in Southeast Asia. She married the love of her life Fire Chief Charles W. Peters in January of 1984 and continued the life of being stationed at various Naval Air Stations in the U.S and abroad. Betty and Charles retired and lived the remainder of their lives in Bartlett, TN.
Betty was blessed with a large and loving family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a steadfast example of unconditional love, mercy and grace which was a result of her love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Betty was dearly loved by husband, children and great grandchildren and her wonderful influence is a beautiful legacy that will live on.
Betty is survived by her children; Sagat Jr (JoAnn) Giron, Stacey (Barry) Alexander, Tim Giron, 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, brothers; Ken Bradford, Raymond Bradford, Rick Bradford, sisters Linda Hodge, and Sandy Guthrie. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Peters, parents Kay and Maudie Bradford Sr, brothers; Kay Bradford Jr, Carl Bradford, Johnny Bradford, and sisters; Ada Buchanan, Ilene Martin, and Janet Radford.
A funeral will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 2pm with visitation starting at 1pm at the Memorial Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, Tennessee 38133.
