Hi, Benny. I'm sending you a message each year so you'll know we all think of you and remember you. We're okay up here in Nashville. The boys are fine my youngest would you held the day after he was born has graduated college and it is doing fine my other son is also doing fine nothing special in our lives really. I Stay home pretty much retired and keep busy here. You are missed you are special and I'm so glad that we work together and knew each other and became friends. Hi Benny. It's been a long time. I speak of you at least once a month with old friends of the whole group from the different dealerships and all of that. I spoke with Bill Hill yesterday. His children are grown he's very happily married and is doing well as a building contractor. His heart is still as golden as yours. My youngest you held as a newborn will be graduating with his master's this December. I wish you were here. To your wife and family I have lost my husband and I never knew that kind of pain or beginning to live a different life even could exist. How could anything be so cruel? Well and so I say what would my husband want for us. It doesn't work and usually sends me using a few bad words. It's hard to put my two feet on the floor. I will and so will you everyday and your children oh, wow. To have him for a father oh, wow. I can't say anymore. So today Benny I loved you before I even knew you more than Mister Benny.

Okay, Benny. I learned about this today. May 28th 2021. How could this happen. To you of all people. I love you, we love you. We need your help ... always. I said hello to your wife I watched the pictures. I can't believe you're gone. 54 is so young. You gave me Grace when I did not deserve it. You are person I intended to get "back in touch" to say thanks. I will always remember you. This is my third post. I found out today from Bill Hill. Oh, Benny. My deepest sorrow, love and pride for knowing you. A gift. Goodbye my friend. Can't believe I'm saying goodbye to you. Oh, God, dear Benny. I love you. Goodbye, my real true friend. Good night, angel.

Cindy, I just went through all the photos. Thank you so much for allowing old friends to see them. Benny was absolutely true blue. A good friend, an absolute loving husband to the love of his life in you and a great boss. Many times there were talks about mine and my husband's children and yours and Benny's children. He helped me in inexplicable ways. I did not know. I wish I had had the chance to say thank you. So here I thank you, Cindy. You gave him more happiness than a person may have in ten lifetimes.

Dearest Cindy, I only today found out about Benny. We worked together at Covington Pike Toyota for six years. He spoke of you always with love. He called it when I went into premature labor because he had seen you do it with Grace so many times. My deepest love for you and your family. I have lost my husband as well. Please feel free to call anytime or if you need anything. That is usually only something people say. I really do mean it. If there is anything you need please speak up. 615-642-0426. You were the greatest father to Bridgett and Amanda, always put everyone else first, never complaining always offering a helping hand. Benny was a high school classmate and I haven't seen him since graduation.  But, there's something about those friends that you saw during high school, isn't there.  I share in your sorrow and pray that you would be comforted during these days of grief.

I knew Benny from working with him at Covington Pike Toyota; he always had a way of making you laugh...and it's his laughter I will remember most! My condolence to his family; May God comfort you in His loving arms during this difficult time.

Even though I had known you for a couple of months it has felt like years. In the short time we have worked together I had more and more admiration and respect for you and your family as each day passed and I got to know you.
You were a friend and a boss. You always seem to know the right things to say at the right time. You were a boss that knew when to joke and when to be serious. I will always remember you and thank God for the time i knew you. I am sad for your families lost because no one knows better than they do what a great person, loving husband and father you were. Benny was the loveliest person, I called on him as a customer of the Commercial Appeal and it was always like visiting a friend. He was a caring kind person who spoke often of his cherished wife and family. I will never forget how he bailed me out when I needed a customer to attend an event we were having and not having a customer attend would have reflected badly on me. I know he lived some distance from where the meeting was held and it caused him to miss a few hours of work but he did it for me, because he was just that kind of guy. Always thinking of others, and never himself. Cindy my deepest condolence goes out to you, the love of Benny's life! He loved you so much and was so very proud of you. I will miss him.

Sweet Benny: You were so like a brother to me as a child.  Even tho we grew older, married and went our separate ways, I always loved you, Jerry, Ricky and Mark.  We had some real fun times with you 4 boys.  Wanda and I loved to come out and ride the horses and when the 4 of you were together- you always cracked us up.  Wanda says she will never forget when we went to the Southland Mall with our parents.  Me, you and wanda wandered into a pet store where they had a Myna bird- you kept talking to it over and over.  You finally put your face up to the cage and it snapped your nose-which bled for an hour.  Just those fun times.  I will miss you my friend.  You have a beautiful, sweet wife and some beautiful children who will live their lives remembering and loving you also.  Rest in Peace, my precious friend.
