Avis "Billie" Willene Perkins

She was born March 19, 1930 in Potts Camp, MS to the late Bertha Boren Lowery and Jeff Lowery.

In 1945, she married Seale Perkins who served his country in the Navy during WWII. They made their home in Memphis, TN where they raised 2 daughters in a loving, Christian home. She was a homemaker who dedicated her life to being the best wife and mother…always putting her family first.

She was predeceased by her husband Seale Perkins in 2011 after 65 years of marriage. She leaves behind daughters, Brenda Perkins Glass (Ken) and Joy Perkins Cochran; grandchildren, Kimberly Glass Fogelman (Rick), Corey Glass (Michelle); great-grandchildren Reece Paul (Grace), Mackenzie Paul Hess, Annie Fogelman, Jack Fogelman, Blakely Glass Bone (Tanner), Ben Glass, Barrett Glass; great great-grandchildren, Teddy Bone and Noah Paul.

She especially enjoyed the company of her family who will miss her deeply.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 1:00 PM until the service beginning at 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (3700 N Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN 38133)
