It's amazing how songs bring us back to our childhood. I still remember hanging out in your room singing "Kiss from a rose" into the end of hair brushes and being mean to your brother because he wouldn't leave us alone. My memories though distant and only consisting of a few short years are still vivid and sweet. You will be missed by all those whose lives you touched.

Little did i know that 17 years ago when I met you I was being blessed with a wonderful friend and a beautiful angel.  You always supported us and no matter when and what I called you always made me feel like I was one of the most important people in your life.  You were an angel for me on earth and I know you will continue to be an angel for me in heaven.  Rest well my sweet little sister.  Love you 💕

There are no words to express the sadness I feel since hearing of your passing. I keep remembering our last conversation over Christmas on wishing we had one more day to spend all together. You told me you agreed because y’all were needy. That has stuck with me. I to just needed to see you one more time. April, you will never be forgotten. Your memory will always be in our hearts.

Today we celebrate your memory, but mourn your leaving us. A piece if my heart left with you Sunday 1/19/20.  You were one of my best friends and going through this life without you is going to be so hard. I’m going to miss everything about you, but I will keep your memory alive and you are forever with me. I have so many great memories of her! I have always known her to put others needs first.  She was the definition of being a caring, loving, and compassionate person. I'm sorry to hear that such a wonderful person had to leave this world so early. She has always had a special place in my heart. I hope that for the limited time we had together that I was just as impressionable in her life as she was  in mine. I can remember as young kids spending countless hours on the phone tell each other endless stories about life. I would get to school and you be there in the class. you were just as bright and energetic, ready to take on the day. I just imagine that carried you those same qualities though life.  Your mom and dad weren't my biggest fans but they were doing what was right and that was  keeping their baby away from a guy like me.... lol. Big brother little sister forever..... I'll take all the annoying pain and not being able to talk and everything else we talked about for us both, you dont have to. Nikki and I finally made it to Memphis to be with you one more time and you better come see me even if its to give me a hard time or guide me in the right direction just don't move things around in the house because I'll notice it and when I come to be with you in heaven we will have a good old fashioned brother sister throw down. You will be missed by all of us and loved by us too. I guess im using "humor" to cover up the pain and the feeling this is all a bad dream but im serious you better bring your butt to Texas and see me ill show you around I know you will love it there and we will have a good time. Sweet, sweet girl! I was there the night you were born and you were such a beautiful baby. As you grew, you became even more beautiful and full of personality! Me and you and your momma used to have a lot of fun together. We lost touch through the years but I’m so glad you reached back out to me a few years ago. I just want you to know that I always loved you. Rest In Peace sweet girl. Look my daddy up and tell him hello for me. 

My Sweet, Sweet April, never have I met a sweeter soul, a more genuine and caring person, I have been truly blessed to have you as my friend.  I luv you as if you were my own. I, also, refuse to say Good bye, but I will see you again.  Until that day, I pray that you will fly higher than the eagles, that you are able to ride a rain drop, you will always be beautiful, healthy and worry free. Not only my prayers are with your family but my parents and sister. My mama kept you as a curly headed little girl that had a smile that was contagious. I loved getting to hold you as did our mother Geneva Martin Williams who as a young girl was best friends with your grandma Joyce and so many memories.

You possessed beauty like your precious mother Kim. I went to school with your precious mother. Our families go way back. I still go back to you as that little girl so sweet and shy yet outgoing. I knew you would follow your dreams and that you did. I know we were Facebook friends and time passed by and I saw you and your friends and family on Facebook. The Lord knows why your life was cut short and I asked him to give your Beautiful family and friends strength and comfort in the days to come.

You were a little Angel when mama kept you and now a Angel with our Lord.
