The Lord mercifully released Anna McNally from the chains of this earth on Sunday, January 29, 2017. Loving wife, mother, sister, maw maw and friend, Anna was an overcomer in every sense of the word. After battling Dyslexia, receiving her GED, Anna obtained her BSN in nursing. Anna was a triathlete and a member of the Memphis Runners club. She was a devout Christian and fierce prayer warrior. Anna beat the odds of a cancer diagnosis she received over 22 years ago. The strength and determination she exhibited daily was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her. We look forward to the day we are reunited with her in glory on the streets of gold. Mrs. McNally is survived by her dear husband of 27 years, David McNally; five daughters, Tiffany (Josh) LaClave of Cordova, Melissa Shackelford of Cordova, Beth (Paul) Meyer of Arlington, TN, Sarah (Shane) Henley and Rebecca (Harrison) Bauer, all of Madison, MS; a son, Andy (Isis) McNally of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Peggy Gaber of Ooltewah, TN and Sue Greene of Monroe, GA and twelve grandchildren, Chance, Cody, Caleb, Chandler, Jackson, Juliana, Caitlin, Callan, Sage, Taylor, Violet, Ben and a host of Nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, June Puttman and a brother, Billy Smith. The family will receive friends this evening, Tuesday, January 31 from 5-7 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Funeral services will be at Bartlett First Assembly of God on Wednesday, February 1 at 11 a.m. with interment to follow in Memorial Gardens. www.memphisfuneralhome.net
