Alice Gross, 78, of Bartlett passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Gross was retired from Sears and loved taking care of her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, William F. Gross; parents, Ernest and Amelia Martinez; brothers, Oranzo and Jackie Martinez. Mrs. Gross is survived by her two daughters, Jodine Gross of Bartlett, Pamie (Gary) Sanders of Olive Branch, MS; two sons, Ronnie (Karen) Gross of Cordova and Donnie (Gwen) Gross of Lakeland; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; sisters, Julie Wiseley, Magdalina Garcia, Barbara Trujillo, Anna Sherrod and Tina Harmon; brothers, Ernie, Joe A. and Bobby Martinez. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, June 25, 2014 and a funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, June 26, 2014 both at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N.
