Sheryl June Hazelett

Sheryl June Forsythe-Hazelett gained her wings on December 12 2023 at Loma Linda Hospital. She was born on April 17th 1969 at the Naval Hospital in San Diego, California. She went peacefully with family and friends by her side. Sheryl enjoyed and was a big supporter of relay for life, Paws for a Cause, Bark for Life, and other organizations. She was in Barstow Judo club under her dad Ernest Smith and got to a brown belt. Sheryl was the chaplain for Post 751 Newberry Springs American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She also helped with the SAL poker runs and Ladies Auxiliary events. Sheryl had 34 years of Federal Civil Service at MCLB Repair Division BLDG 573. Sheryl is survived by Mother Patricia Lippert, Dad Ernest Smith, Brother Troy Forsythe and Wife Heather Forsythe, Brother Joey Fergouson, Brother Chris Goff, Daughter Hanna Morgan and Husband Wade Morgan, Son Gregory Hazelett, adopted son Darick Teube and Family, Nephew Mason Forsythe, niece Loren Forsythe, niece Destiny and Family, niece Alex Vallejos, nephew Andres Vallejos, adopted nephew Josh McElroy and Family, Uncle Paul and Aunt Kathy Lippert, Uncle Ray, Uncle Carl, Uncle Mike, Uncle Bob, one and only grandson Dexter Morgan, and Randy Hazelett. Proceeded into death by uncle Glen, Uncle Dan, Uncle Joe, Grandmother Audrey, Father Dave Forsythe, Step-mother Stacy Forsythe, and Jordan.

Services will be held AT 1PM on January 20th 2023 at Newlife Fellowship In Barstow, CA. Reception to follow at the Newberry Springs American Legion Post 751.
