Peter Alva Esquivel

Our beloved father Peter Alva Esquivel, 92 yrs old went to be with our Lord

On Dec. 15, 2023. Pete was born in Oct. 19,1931 in Needles Ca then moved to

Barstow Ca. He was a family man, a husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa to

many and a friend to all. He worked at various places until he went to work at

Santa Fe Railroad during which he got drafted into the U.S. Army on July. 22,

1952 - March 31,1954 to serve in the Korean War, he then returned to Santa Fe

where he retired after 40 yrs. Pete then started his family. Pete was an active

member of the community and belong to several fraternities to include Elks

Lodge, American Legion, and Moose Lodge. Pete was also a softball coach for

the famous LOBOETTES where he was well known.

Pete was survived by his Daughter Mary Pinkus son in law Adam Pinkus

daughter Pat Esquivel, son Peter Jr Esquivel, grand children Justin, Steven,

daughter in-law Rebecca, Adam Jr {Boo}, Adrian, Crystal, great grand children

are Edgeren, Isaiah, Gabe, Malaya, Leila, Michael, and many Nieces and

Nephews. Brother in laws Sonny Robles, and Armando Robles.

Peter is proceeded in death by his parents Trinidad and Angelia Esquivel, his

wife Elsie Esquivel, brothers: Chavelo, Salvador, Joe, Robert, Ernie Esquivel

Sisters: Rose Robles, Irene Robles, Becky Freire, and Angie Esquivel. Brother In

law Gilbert Freire, sis in law Della, Corrine, Stella, Nieces, Rita, Angelina, and

Jennifer, nephews Joe, Eddie Esquivel.

Peters remembrance will be as follows:

Jan. 3, 2024 Meads Mortuary 4-8pm with the rosary starting at 6:30pm

Jan.4, 2024 St.Josephs Catholic Church

Viewing will be at 9am

Mass at 10am

Cemetery 11:00am

Reception will follow at Noonan Hall.

Although Peter is gone, he will not be forgotten in the hearts of ALL those who

loved him.
