Jose Ramon Tabet, returned to our heavenly father on November 25, 2015, where he was welcomed into the heavenly kingdom by his mother Josefita Madero, his fathers, Michael Tabet and Lorenzo Madero, his Grandparents, Severa Padilla Silva and Adolfo Silva, his brothers, Armelindo, Arsenio and Ruben Madero, his loving sons, Richard, Raul and Matthias Tabet as well as his grandchildren, Aurora Vera and Adrian Tabet, and many of his family and friends who have preceded him. Jose was born on May 22, 1931, in Belen, New Mexico. Jose traveled to California in 1947 where he met and married the love of his life, Helena (Vargas) Tabet, they recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Together they raised 11 children, Raymond, married to Diane Tabet, Richard, married to Bess Tabet, Robert married to Barbara Tabet, Yvonne married to Edward Sanchez II, Diana Tabet, Patricia Tabet married to Chris Filipiak, Raul Tabet, David married to Stefanie Tabet, Maria Elena married to Daniel Herrera, Matthias Tabet and Denise Tabet. Jose and Helena have been blessed with 33 grand children, 20 great-grand children and 2 great-great-grand children. Jose leaves behind his wife Helena V. Tabet, 8 of his children his brother Adolpho Madero and his sisters Severa McClain and Eufelia Putnum. Jose worked for 27 years at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Barstow, California as a laborer, forklift operator and rigger. Jose was an active member at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church where he volunteered for many years as a hospital minister, an usher and a greeter. Jose also volunteered at the Church’s Desert Manna. Jose was a loving and caring son, husband, father, uncle, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, great great-grandfather, and friend. Everyone who met Jose was a friend to him and knew him to be a very caring, thoughtful, loving and a genuine human being. He loved to listen and talk with his friends and family about life. He had the gift of listening and paying attention to what you had to say and he would bless us with his counsel, guidance and love. Jose loved and cherished his family immensely and FAMILY meant so much to him. God, family and to love each other was his motto, and the way he lived his life. All who knew Jose will miss him dearly, but do not despair, he is with us always, he is at peace and he is watching over and praying for us all. Thank you, husband and father for all your sacrifices, for teaching us our faith and for your unconditional love. We love you forever, you will be greatly missed, by us all and you will be present forever in our hearts.
