A Graveside Service will be held for Graciella Mora on Monday February 12, 2024 at 11am . Services will take place at Riverside National Cemetery.
Grace was born in Yuma, Arizona. Moved to Central California when she was about 9.
The family lived on Houge Ranch, and she worked in the boarding house her parents ran.
Till she met and then married Ben, on May 17, 1958. Ben worked on the ranch, that’s how they met.
But now needed better work… and heard from some dear friends, that the desert had some work.
So, they moved to Barstow…
Both were hard workers. Ben as a painter at Yermo Marine Base. Grace worked as a Cashier and Key Carrier at Vons Grocery Store. She retired after 30 years!
They also enjoyed their time together. Did you know they were in the Bowling League? Really good at it too! They traveled through the states several times. Went on a Europe tour. Switzerland was her favorite. Hawaii with Bens younger brothers. Mexico several times, loved the tacos! Grace enjoyed the slots, so, Ben took her as often as he could to Laughlin, Nevada.
The most important thing they did together was raise their four children.
Connie Bobby Patsy Ben Jr.
They also had 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Grace is survived by her sister, Rita Gil, and many other family and friends…
