George Thomas Morris

George Thomas Morris was born February 22nd, 1935 in St Louis Missouri. He came to California in 1938, where he would later meet and marry his beautiful wife, Lawana. George lived with his wife and three kids in Paramount Ca until 1970, when he moved to Lockhart Ranch in Hinkley Ca. George eventually moved to Crystal Lakes in Newberry Springs California, where he lived for the past 33 years. George was a jack of all trades, an extremely hard worker, and a family man. He was an avid gold miner, camper, and racing enthusiast. George was the patriarch of a large family, whom he loved dearly. He could be found at every family function, school event, play, dance recital, and sports game. George was always there, cheering on his kids and grandkids. If he wasn't attending an event, he was hosting one at his house because he loved to be surrounded by his family and friends . George left behind his loving wife, Lawana Morris whom he was married to for over 60 years, his three children, Mike Morris (Lisa Morris), Joycelynn Armstrong (Simon Armstrong) , and Linda Armstrong (Lewis Armstrong), his sisters, Marlene Hughes (Johnny Hughes) and Maryjoyce Brewer, his grandchildren , Kristy Espinoza, Jennifer Van Norman (David), Michael Armstrong (Irene), John Berry (Alexis), Robert Berry, Leshawn Mitchell (Brett), Brandi Dew (David), Erin Stevens (Kyle) and Deanna Armstrong (Matt), his great grandchildren, Arianna, Ej, Bella, Davin, Taryn, Teaghan, Nathan, Karson, Camden, Kaylynn, Christian, Cameron, Brandon, Jack, Kaylee, Cheyenne, Gavin, and Rylee, and countless kids who all lovingly called him Papa.
