It is with great sadness that the children of Clarence Ole Munch, Sr. (Chet) announce the passing of their beloved father on May 22, 2017. Chet was born in Claremore, Oklahoma on December 3, 1930. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Peggy of 46 years and is survived by his four children, Sandra Munch, Jim Munch, Megan (Munch) Nelligan and Clarence Ole Munch, Jr. (Chet). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. Chet served his country during World War II and the Korean War. He was a very active member in his Veteran’s group. Chet was proud to be a Veteran and made a great effort to speak to every Veteran he came across. Chet also enjoyed rodeos and anything related to the old west. Anyone who knew him knew about his great sense of humor and liked nothing better than to hear a joke, play a joke or be part of one. However, his family was his pride and joy and very much loved by him. He will be missed by all of his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please send a donation to any reputable Veteran association or your favorite charity. The family thanks you for your love and prayers at this difficult time.
