I am saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs. Bell. She was the mother of my friend Leslie, and I thought she was a wonderful person.  I honestly looked up to her as a role model for women.  Also, as one of Daggett California’s old timers, it feels like a piece of the old town’s history is now gone.  Rest In Peace dear lady. 

Ma Bell, as we called her, and I shared hours of joy and laughter as we communicated by phone over the years. She and my mother, Vivian Campbell, were best friends and we took great joy in reliving those memories our families had shared since the 1950's. I can only believe she, my mom and 'their' Roberts are having a great heavenly reunion. Gods blessing to all who were fortunate enough to know this fine women.
