Sven Gunnar Holmberg

June 15, 1940 – Jan 15, 2018

Our beloved father Sven-Gunnar Holmberg passed away suddenly on January 15th.

He will be dearly missed by both of his sons, and his daughter, as well as his many grandchildren.

We all adored him.

In accordance with dad's wishes he will be cremated and his ashes spread by his close family.

We know that he was like a dad to many members of the community, an adopted grampa to many too.

He was family to so many people in Barrhead.

It was the town he loved, and that was because of the people in this community.

On behalf of our whole family, we would like to express our deep gratitude to all those people that knew and loved dad.

It has always been a great comfort to us to know he was so loved, so included in many families, and such a big part of this community.

Thank you all so much for being such kind and loving people to Sven for all his many years in Barrhead.

He dearly loved all of his friends here.

He will be sadly missed, and it is a blessing to us all that he has left us with so many great memories.

He was the sweetest dad and grampa, a great man in so many ways, and a huge treasure to have as a friend, as so many people knew.

May he rest in peace, and feel all of the love from all of us who miss him.
