Monika Lynch

Monika will be remembered best as being a devout Christian and serving up some awesome German food at her restaurant "Oma's Hideaway Cafe" in Brule, Alberta. She was always quick with a joke and loved playing bingo, mah jong and dominoes.

Monika was born in Waldersee in the province of Sachsenhalt, Germany in 1941. Moved to Canada 1968 and met James Lynch (predeceased) and started a family. Monika is survived by her children Martina Horlaville, Marita (Ron) Martel, Monique Lynch (Chad Rudd), and Mary (Eoin/predeceased) Fitzgerald. Also by her grandchildren Fabienne Horlaville, Seanna Fitzgerald (Luke Morris), Racheal Fitzgerald (Joseph Ditchfield), Allison Fitzgerald (Sven Wijk) and Kearah Rudd. She also leaves behind 2 siblings Margit Majkowski, and Ralf (Regina) Majkowski. She is predeceased by two siblings, Dagmar Deneka and Peter Majkowski.
