Marlene Eleanor Evans

April 29, 1938 – September 27, 2017

Our beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 27, 2017 at the Leduc hospital. Marlene Evans was born in Stillwater, Minnesota to William and Eleonora Wetzel on April 29, 1938. Marlene will be lovingly remembered by surviving sons, Tom (Evelyn), Jerry (Faye), Wayne (Kim); daughters, Debbie (Gregg), Lori, Diane (Ron), Dawn (Nathan), fondly enjoyed 5 grandsons and 5 granddaughters; sister, Laura Fritsche. Will be sadly missed but never forgotten by numerous family and neighbours. Predeceased by husband, Thomas and sons, Ross and Lloyd; mother, Eleonora and father, William; brothers, Harold and Lloyd. They will guide and welcome her. Big thank you to all the staff at Salem Manor in Leduc for their care, compassion and friendship while Marlene was there. Donations can be made to a charity of your choice. Funeral Service will be held at 1PM Monday October 2, 2017 from MTM Hall Tiger Lily, Alberta.
