Margaret Irene Liske

On Sunday, December 18th, 2011, Margaret Liske of Barrhead, AB, formerly of Mystery Lake, AB, passed away peacefully at the age of 86 years. Margaret is lovingly remembered and will be missed by her husband of 65 years, Leon; her children, Shirley (Sid) Schooler, Gord (Charlene) Liske, and Carl (Joanne) Liske; grandchildren, Sheila (Brian), Jodi (Dallas), Sheldon, Sheena (Ryann), Miran (Anthony), Deziray (Clinton), and Melisa (Kris); great-grandchildren, Jordan, Kyle, Kali, Kadan, Dane, Cale, Raina, Navy, Joscelyn and Olivia; brothers, Norman, Gordon (Edith), and Harold (Joel); and numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Ewald and Olga; one brother and three great-grandchildren. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, Mystery Lake, AB at 1:00 pm. In memory of Margaret, donations gratefully accepted to the Barrhead Continuing Care Centre (5336 – 59 Avenue, Barrhead, AB T7N 1L2).
