Karen Irene Rau

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Karen I. Rau, late of Barrhead, AB, formerly of Shoal Creek, AB, on Friday, December 7, 2012 at the age of 72 years. She is survived by her loving family; children, Brenda Rau (Ray Crisler) of Barrhead, AB, Brendt (Cindy) Rau of Grande Prairie, AB, and Bruce Rau of Fort St. John, BC; grand-stepchildren, Tylor Crisler, Heather, Zavier (Ava) of Stony Plain, AB, Jennifer and Justin Forbes, Ostin, Liam and Presley of Minot, North Dakota; grandchildren, Trisha, Darin Mulligan, Branden, Meagan and Austin, Terynn and Dustin, and Bryce; brother, Danny McLellan of Langley, BC; as well as numerous other family and many dear friends. Karen is predeceased by her parents, Rod and Ethel McLellan; brother, Bill McLellan; sisters, Maureen Brownlee and Myrna Bachman. A Private Family Service will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Rose Garden Chapel with Reverend David Pype officiating.
