Joyce (Joy) Ryder

Joy was born on a British naval base in Malta, a small country close to Italy. She grew up in south England and then in 1947 she became an English war bride when she came to Canada to marry Robert (Bob) Ryder. They resided in Meadowview, Sangudo and then Barrhead. After Bob passed in 1998, Joy moved to Stony Plain.

Joy is survived by sons Keith (Darlene) and Bryan (MaryAnn), daughters Cheryl (Doug) Lowenberg and Janet (Tony) Fluet, grandchildren Trevor (Shannon), Corrie, Tyson (Lily), Dominique (James), Neil (Christina), Rylee, great grandchildren Carson, Talon, Easton, Shae, Brianna, Teagan, Keltie & Ryder.

Joy was predeceased by her husband of 50 years Robert (Bob) Ryder, son-in-law Dennis Dobko, and grandson David Ryder.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 25, 2023 at 1:00 PM from Rose Garden Chapel.
