John E. Pollock

With sadness we announce the passing of John Pollock, late of Barrhead, AB, who passed away on October 7, 2015 at the age of 73 years. John is survived by his family, brother Melvin Pollock of Calgary, sisters Marlene Pollock of Edmonton and Jean Tiffen of Barrhead, nephews Christopher Tiffen, Daniel Pollock, and Jackson Simard, nieces Christie Nicholson, Kathleen Tiffen and Karen Pollock, great-nephew Logan Tiffen and great-nieces Claire Pollock, Samantha Ledbetter and Cierra Tiffen-White. John is also survived by his Blue Heron Family. John was predeceased by his parents Edward and Edith Pollock, wife Mary Anne Pollock and longtime companion Angie Chrysto. A Celebration of John’s life will take place on October 20, 2015 at Blue Heron Support Services Association (5123 – 50 Avenue, Barrhead) at 1:00pm. Burial took place on October 17, 2015 at Glenwood Cemetery in Sherwood Park. In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted to the Blue Heron Support Services Association Memorial Garden Project.
