Helmut Mueller

Helmut Albert Mueller was born on April 5, 1938 in Radom, Poland, but lived his early childhood in Germany. In 1959, at the age of 21, he moved to Canada and settled in Barrhead where he met and married his loving wife, Irma Mantei. In 1978, Helmut and Irma started their business together, a local automotive shop, Mueller Motors. They sold their business in 1999. Helmut and Irma moved from Barrhead to Okotoks, Alberta in 2014. Helmut will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Irma Mueller; their three children, Ken (Sonja), Robert, Colleen Walton (Guy); their four grandchildren, Regan, Meritchell, Riley and Emily; his sisters in Germany, Irene and Erna; his sisters-in-law, Linda, Talita, Ingrid (George); as well as many nephews, nieces and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charities of choice.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 2:00 pm at St. John's Lutheran Church, Barrhead, AB. Interment will follow at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery with a luncheon to follow in the hall at St. John’s Lutheran Church.
