George Wemekamp, aged 95, went to be with the Lord December 11, 2024. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
George was born January 22, 1929 in Denham, Holland. He and his family immigrated to Canada after WWII. George and Jenny were married on July 6, 1957. George Wemekamp is survived by his wife Jenny and their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as a sister, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephew and extended family.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, from Barrhead Canadian Reformed Church.
