I was deeply saddened to hear the news of David's passing.   David and I were friends in High School but lost touch until he moved back to Barrhead.  One day I heard someone  calling to me in the parking lot, and I recognized his voice immediately.  After a wonderful hug and exchange of numbers we began to share many hours of heartfelt telephone conversations about  family and friends, aches and pains, life in general  and of course "The Good Old Days".  
 I will miss those calls, and I will miss David...but I will never forget him.   
 My deepest sympathies to all his family.
